Hiring Managers look for
certain skill sets. Think about how you fit these categories and
be prepared to answer questions related to each skill.
Teamwork -
be prepared to
tell how you have worked in a group environment while still
demonstrating your creativity.
Communication Skills -
you
must be articulate and write well. How can you demonstrate this
to a potential employer (hint - on your well-written resume)
Adaptability -
if you
aren't flexible you may not get the job. Tell the hiring manager
why you are so good in this area.
Accountability -
tell the
potential employer how you are willing to take responsibility
and deliver beyond expectation. Do this in the resume and in the
interview.
Motivation -
be
enthusiastic in your resume and in the interview. No one wants
to hire you if you aren't self-motivated and goal oriented with
a drive for success.
Willingness -
are you
ready and able to learn new systems? Will you enthusiastically
embrace new ideas?
